Services Offered
Integrating biblical principles with neuroscience for holistic trauma counseling.
Trauma Therapy
People are complex beings, created with a body, soul, and spirit. Incorporating each part of the person in the process is essential to healing. We don't believe in helping people simply exist and cope their way through life. We hope to assist people in overcoming the struggles they face, so that they are free to live out the life they were created for.
We use a Christian worldview and a variety of different evidence-based practices to treat trauma, PTSD, and dissociation, in addition to other struggles people wrestle with daily.

Substance Abuse Counseling
We don't believe that addiction/substance abuse is a disease or that it is a part of your identity. We believe that people can live a life free from the chains of addiction. We use a trauma-informed approach to navigate the challenges of addiction. We provide compassionate counseling for substance abuse, integrating spiritual guidance and evidence-based practices for recovery.
EMDR Intensives are a great option for creating life change in a shorter amount of time. Intensives focus on a specific issue with options for treatment length that typically range from 3-5 treatment sessions. We use EMDR, in addition to other treatment modalities as needed to get to the root of the problem helping to resolve problematic symptoms.

EMDR Consultations
We provide consultation for those looking to get certified in EMDR, become an EMDRIA-approved Consultant, or increase their clinical skills for providing EMDR. We can also integrate a Christian worldview into the process.

The Beauty for Ashes Healing Retreat is a multi-day trauma retreat for Christian women. This is not a conference style retreat. It is set up to provide an intimate environment to focus on individual work. More information on the retreat can be found here.

Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a powerful listening therapy that stimulates the vagus nerve and is designed to reduce stress, hearing sensitivities, and help regulate the autonomic nervous system. This noninvasive intervention can have a positive impact on the social engagement system allowing the individual to access a felt sense of safety within their relationships.

Nature-Informed Therapy
Nature-informed therapy is a way to incorporate nature into a person's healing journey. This can be done in various ways and locations. Integrating nature can be a restorative process creating space for an individual to connect with themselves, God, and his creative gifts in ways that benefit mental, emotional, and physical health.
